Only 15 minutes from the northern town of Kirkland Lake, Dorothy Lake Camp nestles among pine and birch trees and overlooks a pristine lake. Great Blue Heron, Loon, and wild duck are summer visitors here. Indeed, the Loons are known to accompany canoes and swimmers. A very short portage leads into the sister lake, Joyce. |

Baskets of blueberries in their season, are easily picked around the campsites and cabins. Wintergreen, Pink Ladyslippers, Northern Green Orchis, Indian Ghost Pipes, Creeping Snowberry, Starflower, are just a few of the wild flowers to be seen within the grounds. |
| Dorothy Lake Camp is available for Christian groups who would like to experience the beauty of the woodlands in Northern Ontario. There are 4 cabins and 12 campsites. Although there are out-houses, we do have hot showers available in the bath-house. A large permanent structure, called the teepee, provides indoor dining, assembly, crafts area, etc., and is a great place for evening sing-songs around the central fireplace. Firewood is always available.
The kitchen is attached to the teepee by a short walkway and is equipped with 2 propane stoves and 2 propane refrigerators. Plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and crockery are available. |

| Close by the out-door chapel is our new large log storage shed. This houses the canoes, paddles, and P.F.D.S for use by the campers. |
